Knowledge base

The knowledge base grounds every answer so the assistant stays accurate.

Add sources

Under Settings → Knowledge base:

  • Website — enter your domain; GTM Clarity crawls and indexes public pages.
  • Help center / docs — add URLs or upload files (PDF, Markdown, HTML).
  • Q&A — add specific question/answer pairs for things not on your site.

Refresh

Crawled sources re-index on a schedule. Trigger a manual re-index after a big content change. Uploaded files index immediately.

Tips

  • Keep pricing and positioning pages in the index so the assistant answers cost and comparison questions correctly.
  • Add an internal Q&A for anything you don't want public but the assistant should know.
