Agency / white-label
For agencies running GTM Clarity across multiple clients. See For Agencies.
Primary goal: Varies per client — set each client's goal to match their motion (use the PLG, Ecommerce, or Sales-led playbook as the base).
Per-client setup
Each client gets their own:
- Widget key and embed snippet (see Install)
- Brand accent, name, and avatar (see Appearance)
- Persona and goal (see Engagement)
- Knowledge base scoped to that client's site and docs
White-label
Run the assistant under the client's brand — your agency stays behind the scenes. Conversions and reporting are isolated per client.
Custom domain (white-label)
Serve the assistant from your own domain so nothing on the page references GTM Clarity.
- In the app, set a custom domain (e.g.,
chat.youragency.com) under Settings → White-label. - Add the DNS record shown there — a
CNAMEfrom your subdomain to the target GTM Clarity gives you. SSL is provisioned automatically once it resolves. - Your embed snippet then serves from your domain:
<script src="https://chat.youragency.com/widget.js" data-widget-key="CLIENT_WIDGET_KEY" async></script>
The data-widget-key still identifies the client; the domain is purely branding. You can use one agency domain across all clients, or give each client their own.
Routing
Send each client's handoffs to their own channel or inbox so the right team responds. Configure under Routing & handoff.
Tip
Start every client from the playbook closest to their motion, then tune the persona. Most of the work is the persona and the knowledge base — the rest is shared.
